Overview
This honest and unique training programme is aimed at Senior Executives and Directors and facilitated by Nina Gomes of Rise Consulting, a provider of strategic HR and L & D consultancy services. It aims to support the needs of any leader looking to consolidate the leadership skills already acquired throughout their career and move forward with intent.
The biggest barriers to learning at a senior level are time constraints and the fact that leaders have already attended similar courses during their working lives. Time is precious when you are leading a busy team or department so being asked to attend a half or even full day of training covering methods and theories you already know does not seem like a useful exercise! Clients come first but we also know the importance of continued learning regardless of seniority, so training sessions need to be accessible, relevant and pertinent to the needs of directors.
Structure
Consisting of 4 x 1-hour sessions, the focus is on the attendees and their own leadership challenges in a multi generational, fast paced workplace.
In order for the attendees to get the most from the programme, sessions should be at least 1 week apart to allow for contemplation, percolation and collaboration with peers about the issues raised.
Sessions are fast paced and interactive and attendees are encouraged to bring their authentic selves and experiences to get the most from them.
